On Wednesday John Galliano set a new bench mark in shoe design with his 'trilogy of terror' heels but it appears the British designer was holding back the real skirt lifter for his eponymous label.
The big question is can Muccia and Marc top Galliano’s aerodynamically designed platforms and how does Imelda get her despotic talons on a pair?

I luv Galliano, what can I say, his shoes are hauntingly beautiful!

I like the multi-strapping detail (because straps are very cool) and I like a lot of the colours; but I think the rest of the shoes are simply heinous!
Please don't taser me.

Galliano has trumped Jacobs.

Curious colours! The shoes remind me of the Shimano Aero bike parts from the 80s. Damn the 80s are going to live forever...

I like them - they sort of look like the shoe is standing on a mirror.
I'm going to be sad when the crazy platform cycles out again, they are so much fun!

Exquisite! I adore the balanced curves of the base and the straps are so bandage/bondage.
They're functional art :)

After looking at those shoes, I inexplicably want to make a pot of tea.

Nine straps to buckle! Now you're talking. I love the red ones, for the boudoir of course.

I loved the finishing on those shoes. That man never bores.

I adore these. The colors, the shine, the lovely, delicate straps contrasting the swooping space-age heels. Lush.

these are little architectural marvels, and a little fantastical but not ridiculous. perfect balance.

At least this time, the models look pedicured. And is it wrong that I kind of like those shoes?

Quite a piece of art but just for a show!

It's all fun and games until someone horribly fractures an ankle.
